This is a poor clue as cantina in Spanish is a canteen not a bar but what do i know having a higher degree in Spanish ?

The STEL setter obviously juses Chambers as a God go anywhere in Spain and you won't see cantina=bar

Strange that the Oxford Dictionary of English states that 'cantina, noun, (especially in a Spanish-speaking country or the south-western US) a bar' then, isn't it!

Spanish Dictionary quotes cantina as "canteen" South America bar , canteen The words in Spnanish normally used for a bar are bar, tasca and bodega. Cantina is a Spanish bar(as per clue) only if you read Spanish as Spanish American
