  Is the answer Stanley Baldwin
Answer could be one of two. Stanley Baldwin was Prime Minister from 22nd May 1923 to 22nd January 1924. Then it was James Ramsey MacDonald until October 1924. Then it was Baldwin again. So take your pick.

Maybe I'm a bit thick but Clynes wasnt a PM and the date for Asquith isnt right
A couple of dates fit for Leader of the Labour Party
Question Author
I know I've been down that path too, in fact I have been up so many I may never get home!!

Hi SMouse,

I've come to same point as you.Have tried Leader of the Labour Party and only a couple of the dates match.Prime minister doesn't seem to fit either.I may just go for stanley Baldwin if no further clues are forthcoming.Have you got any of the people pictures?

Question Author

My son thinks Stanley Baldwin is best option.

No I havent done the pictures. Saw the advice to google image types of wood but so many came to mind, was it trees or woods and then there were hundreds. I wont finish it anyway. These are the ones I havent done if you are interested and there are others were I am not sure
