I suppose i should thank those who held off asking for answers until July, as requested. I have had a scan through and see over a quarter of the quiz has now been requested, not just clues but actuall answers given. I really dont understand why?? You send in your pound (or not in some cases) and I send out a sheet of CLUES for you to answer, then you ask for a second clue!! WHY?? Just to say for those who cant or wont play the game, my next quiz can at your request be sent to you with an answer sheet for to cut out the 'middle man' and as an added bonus I wont charge any extra. That shouls make life easier for all, and maybe instead of marking answers I'll just draw one at random, infact it could just be a raffle, with a few questions thrown in!!
Cheers everyone I'll just go and waste another few hours racking my brains for a few more clues for the next quiz, due out shortly for you to ruin!!

And, if you'd read all the posts it would have been obvious that I do not agree with squarebear on the number of quiz questions asked on this site.

I joined this site years ago when it was a site where a few were asked and people were helped even you yourself in one of your more generous moments said I used to be a helpful member
I am not prepared to help those who do not try and asking the next day or a quarter of the quiz in my eyes isnt trying

Owlady - The charity suffers when quizsetters stop doing quizzes because they are fed up with putting a lot of effort into setting entertaining and/or challenging competitions only to have all their work unravelled in a few posts on here.

I assume you send your £1 (or whatever) when you send off for a quiz so if you don't get all the answers it is irrelevant if you get all the answers or not. (This point has been made ad nauseum but some folks just don't get it).

Asking quarter to half of any particular quiz questions does no one any favours and if you need that many, why not try a different one. No-one will be knocking on your door to ask why you did not submit their particular quiz.

Oh Quizmaster be careful, I suggested that someone tried a different topic as they seemed stuck on a music quiz, I was accused of being insulting. I would struggle on a sports quiz, so rarely send off for them and geography is not my strong point, but a great opportunity to give the Atlas an airing.

I've sent off for quizzes because they looked interesting and / or on subjects I like only to find they did not appeal to me or were not on my "wavelength".

I am not suggesting that every quiz should be given up on immeditately but I would also suggest that if it does not suit you just stop doing it!

No aspersions about abilities or anything else were being cast.

To be honest, one of the main reasons I like helping people here is that it annoys the likes of QuizmasterG, smouse, pulse, crofter, boysinblue etc

The more they moan, they more I and others will help. Hopefully, they will see they are talking to brick walls and leave the site.

We try to make reasoned arguments and are constantly met with intransigence.

Targeting people because they disagree with you is not a very nice habit to have.

Yes I describe myself as a brick wall. You can complain all day long for all I care, it's like water off a duck's back. Answerbank is here to answer questions. If you don't like the site, I suggest you leave.

I have never said i disgreed with answer sites - it is the useless and lazy people who abuse them (and the mugs who answer their questions) I have issue with.

Like most things a small minority totally screw things up for the (honest) majority

I noticed on of the trio is asking MORE questions re the grubs up quiz. Is she that oblivious?
