May I bid you all good evening, in her Ladyships absence I have been asked to throw open the doors and bid you welcome.
Following last weeks excellent suggestion that we may raise some funds by having a small select campsite in the grounds whilst the 'Family@ were away, some very posh tents were procured or purloined and various facilities installed. After a local ad campaign we had a few takers, but and here is the rub, the local Bewildered neighbours though it a wheeze to disrupt proceedings. Damage to the lawns and a deep clean to the moat had to be done so all that was left was enough to clear the ever mounting tab at the chippy,
So maybe a fish supper later, still it was worth a try.

For the raffle I have knitted a camel hair scarf, courtesy of Humph, very soft.

Do help yourselves to the nibbles and tailcocks.

I'll help myself to the nibbles and tailcocks, I've been running around all day. Then helped the gardener, I wondered why the hostas are doing well, it appears we have a frog in the garden eating up the slugs and pests.
