Turn sour in the festive season
Take a vehicle to the country
A mad March one can ring
Cycle mat is in there somewhere
See if you can stop inks fading
A sugary vegetable is colourful
The master loses his head
Sounds to hurry to a watering place
The small horse may go round in an easterly direction
This sweet's got a small clump of grass
It is slower fun if you spin another way
Gallop gently to inter Big ben
I hear it may relax a vital organ
If B.R. agree to change things it gets easy
The scamp I once saw is white
Bird on a railway branch
A grain with a bloom
Its the city with dignity
When hanged,Ray spun round and round
Blackleg has some receipts for borrowed money
I hear there's not many with a high temperature
He'll promise to get round with the 18th letter
Is the little wren moving slowly and timidly
Drop coin in tea and it will bloom
If you hide plum in another way, it's clear
Hope someone can help with these clues as though I am a gardener I am baffled. Many thanks

It's slower - sunflower
If BR agree - gerbera
when hanged - hydrangea
is the little wren - creeping jenny?
lucky7dip, can you tell us which ones you still need please - just repost your list on this thread as a new answer but delete the ones you've got now? i went to answer a couple only to see that across 2 pages you've already got answers for them.
I think lucky7dip might have left us to it!
hanged, Ray = Hydrangea
drop coin in tea = Aconite
It's the city - London pride
scamp I once saw = Campion
A grain with a bloom = Corn Poppy
bird on a railway branch = Cockspur
A grain with a bloom = ooops, not corn poppy, but cornflower
I've given up, without printing it all out, I can't tell what's unanswered by now...
Only one to go - hang in there: he'll promise to get round...
he'll promise to get round with 18th letter = Primrose?
Yes, good one TheWinner! Well done.
Instead of cockspur, it could actually be (and I am changing my answer) to LARKSPUR.
Thank you Leprof, I am not always right, I have just corrected an answer I gave earlier. (when I gave it more thought).
I'm not convinced about the first one, either - think that may not be quite right.
