Boxtops, 50 is first old park created by Graham (4). a clue was given on here to think Cornwall.
I think this could be Ross. Winston Graham wrote Poldark novels and old park is an anagram of Poldark. The character in the first one is Ross.

To the Winner - I think my first guess was rubbish. I think I solved what number 50 is, and the Rachael suggestion of the partner sounds good. I am not doing this puzzle, so am only a bystander really.
