It has come to the attention of the Committee that the electricity bills for these premises have increased to enormous proportions. They are now electricity williams.
Consquently, they have asked that members ensure that all windows and doors are closed to prevent draughts and that all unnecessary lights are switched off.
Candles have been provided in various convenient locations, but members must provide their own matches.
The chimenea is no longer in use. Those wishing ciggy breaks must make their own arrangements with coals, shovels etc.
Tonight's raffle prizes, appropriately, include
a fleecy blanket (some dog hairs)
a hot water bottle cover (pink, knitted only one hole)
half a pair of blue bed socks
half a pair of orange bed socks
Good evening everyone. For the raffle:- In view of the electricity crisis, an Advent candle burnt down to 9th December ( last year's obviously) but will last out the evening easily as goes to 24 and well beyond!
And also some bathroom scales that permanently register several stones lighter than actual weight. Very comforting!
Evening m'lady & mamy. ttfn seems to have done a runner, so we think she must be on her way to yours to mix cocktails should you wish to avail yourself of her services. Found a jar of red cabbage that's only been in the fridge since last Christmas, which I'll gladly chuck in the raffle, oh & a pair of gardening gloves (incl. free soil)
pant. pant, pant, pant..........................ive guided the plane to dumfermline high street, be back in a sec.who is that swimming with a dolphin in the moat ? may be ttfn !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope you had a good do, petal. And that your recovery continues.
Thanks for the tailcocks, but tonight I'll try the mulled wine instead,
