Please Help. Haven't bought the Times on Saturday for many months. Where do they put the T2 Jumbo now? I've been right through the paper and I can't find it.
Thank you Bibblebub. I just checked. All I seem to have is the main paper and two magazines. Am I short of a section? (Thinks: Thanks a bunch Tescos!!!)
Och, what a star you are Bibblebub! Thank you so much.
The maddening thing is I only bought the paper today for the Jumbo, until such times as my husband got back with the Telegraph GK.
Thanks for taking the trouble there.
Probably not Tesco's fault. It's how they're delivered from the suppliers. It used to happen to me quite often with the Sunday Telegraph when the only reason I bought it was for the EV crossword. Apparently suppliers get all the bits separately and if one section is a bit late they don't bother putting it in.
Thanks for your comments Valanne.
And I do take that on board, but isn't it so frustrating for the crossword fanatics amongst us? I only get round to reading the actual paper once I have the crosswords done.
It's a terrible addiction!
It is indeed Plugging Awa, it used to completely ruin my day. I'm using the past tense because I can't afford papers any more - it was almost as bad as giving up smoking!
I used to do the Times2 crossword then stopped. I have tried to find it when I've been at my sister's and always find it hard to locate. There seems to be no natural and predictable place for it.
Attention Bibblebub!
Just printed off your grid so at least I can have the pleasure, without a deadline AND save the price of a stamp.
The chance of winning is so slight anyway.
I do appreciate your help Thank you again.
Response to Valanne.
What is the compulsion? I don't understand it. By the end of Saturday the news lies unread, then the Sunday papers pile in and because our recycling boxes go on a Monday I end up feeling like I have to get the reading all done and it ends up like a HOMEWORK. I think we should all ignore AB and go into group therapy to ignore crosswords.
