yes to the former, no to the latter. Although I do like haggis.
why would vegetarians be upset... it's not the same as saying "I reserve the right to eat a pig" (or maybe it is in your case)

I'm just being silly jno, you are quite correct.
Although I do eat pig.
Before I was married my mother cooked tripe and onions every Saturday and I absolutely LOVED it. I liked the brown tripe too, it was called Reed. I don't think you can get it any more. Unfortunately my husband didn't like tripe, so I haven't had it for nearly 50 years. Oh, memories..............!!
