Of the 80 I have a few left, they are all Car Makes or Models. e.g Sounds like a Norfolk resort (5) = Croma. English Cardinal = Wolsey etc
1. Musical form & type of composition(6) 2. A notorious seadog (6) 3. Add SE to an entrance (7) 4. A splendid assemblage (6) 5. Part ot the 50 (7) 6. Traveller for the sake of 48 (8)
and 7. Pirate privateering vessel (7) Corsair or Caravell ??
I don't have any answers I'm afraid but did a quiz similar where it took me an age to realise that questions like 5 and 6 above, made references to answers of questions 50 and 48 already answered in the quiz rather than those particular numbers having any relevance by themselves.
I apologise if this isn't the case or has already occurred to you!
I looked up seadog in Chambers and one meaning was 'a beast like a talbot'. I'm sure there used to be a model of car called a Talbot. Perhaps you can investigate further
