Taking the Melons to Market
A Farmer weighs 98 lbs. He has 3 Melons each weighing 1lb. He is crossing a river whic has a load bearing capacity of 100 lbs.
How can he take himelf and his melons across simultaneously, without falling into the river?
Remeber, he must be transporting the Melons. No rolling, throwing etc.

Surely, what with gravitational forces etc, the downward force of the melons upon the recipient's hand would push the combined weight over 100lb.

Better if he takes a massive dump and then just carries them :)
Or throws them high and long, legs it across and catches them in a juggling manner...
