can anyone tell my how thick in the dust on the moon

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Marge, despite its age, the Moon 'creates so little dust' as there is no atmosphere (water in the form of vapour or liquid being notably absent) and as such, the normal weathering processes that break down rocks are absent.
I have looked at lunar basalts under the microscope (polarising), and despite being over 4.5 Ga old, they look as fresh as terrestial basalts forrmed at some oceanic ridge last Tuesday, such is the lack of weathering.
