 i would say it is about 3-30 cm prbably depends on where on the moon u r

The Apollo astronauts reported lunar surface dust thickness ranging between 0.3 cm and 7.6 cm...

But how come there's so little dust if the moon is so old? Maybe the moon was made much later than we thought, and something <> put it in place...

Marge, despite its age, the Moon 'creates so little dust' as there is no atmosphere (water in the form of vapour or liquid being notably absent) and as such, the normal weathering processes that break down rocks are absent.

I have looked at lunar basalts under the microscope (polarising), and despite being over 4.5 Ga old, they look as fresh as terrestial basalts forrmed at some oceanic ridge last Tuesday, such is the lack of weathering.

Clanad, it wasn't my lead...the 'thickness of the dust on the moon' is a favourite of many deophiles trying to prove the solar system is 'young'. They clearly have experience of neither reason nor 'ubiquitous' posh british vacuums.
