Brings back painful memories of 1961 - wearing these for the first time, stockings digging deeply into the back of legs leaving red sore marks, a cold patch of leg, tightness around the waist - certainly not the most comfy of garments! I won't be trying them again 50+ years on! ;)
PS But I expect most men would welcome their return! (Sqad avert your eyes from the pics! haha)
I wore stockings for years and years at work. Trouble is the suspender belt never stays up and the stocking tops get lower and lower which is no good when there is a slit in the work skirt. I don`t think I`d go back to them now but never say never. The modern suspender belts with lycra are quite comfortable.
I know, Ann...I was skinny wanting to appear skinnier....but they could be so tight that if you didn't shut the bedroom door when you cut them off they'd make it all the way down the landing.....x
I once went to see the doctor who decided he wanted to examine me and told me to take off my trousers. I told him I would if he promised not to laugh. I took them off and sure enough he doubled up with laughter at the sight of...........my pop socks :-(
