I can’t remember the last time I was awake this early.
Another busy day beckons with work, but at lunch I am starting to sow my seeds for my veggie garden so that’s exciting.
Hope you all have a good day

Just woke up to get a drink and found a live mouse running round our lounge, and our two cats chasing it!! It’s still racing round!

Morning, ignore it and let nature take over!
You can get the husband to pick the carcass up later- if they leave anything
Yes, I’ve shut lounge door to keep it downstairs and come back upstairs! Quite amazes me that they even get it thru the cat flap, which they must have done!
Maybe the cat brought it in, ours does that all the time, she then parks them in my shoes once she gets bored with them . These days I always knock mt shoes out before sticking mt feet in them
Mt?? Should read my!
Question Author
That or you have a teeny tiny hole in the house it’s amazing what mice can squeeze through
Of course , having actually read your post ( it’s late and have not slept yet) the cats are to blame, let’s hope they don’t learn the shoe trick
Ooh a hole, possibly!! Will have a double check when it’s light. I was just convinced they are carrying it thru the cat flap. It’s about the 3 rd one in 3 months.
That’s suggest the little bl**ders are setting up home somewhere inside, hope not it will be real nuisance if they are
Question Author
Morning Aircooled, are you on nights?
As for the hole apparently if you put wire wool that stops the critters
It’s not quite light but I’ve gone downstairs on a hunt and there is no hole anywhere. Lounge has patio doors only, so nowhere to have a hole, and kitchen has back door only, so nowhere to have a hole either.
No not nights, long since retired, back pain is the problem with not sleeping, no fun at all, getting a home visit from physio next week after 2year wait
Aircooledfool - you have my utmost sympathy. After my accident where I fractured my spine I have suffered with permanent severe back pain.
And you have mine,
Explosion Injury when serving in the military years ago is the cause
I was ok for a long time but it eventually came back to bite me
They did at the time tell it might come back but I laughed it off, not laughing now though
What pain relief are you taking? X
High strength co codamol, but i am reluctant to take them too often as they are actually addictive. I try to regulate my intake to times when pain is v bad. The real downer is that the condition limits mt mobility and my ability to do normal stuff
Did a mt not my again , time for a lie down maybe
Yes I’ve been given soluble high strength co codamol, but again try not to take it unless I have to.
Well I think my poor old brain is getting fuddled, so I will retire gracefully to my scratcher. Thanks for the chat and sympathy
As they say “keep taking the tablets” but not too many
Bye for now
