In terms of practicality, I'd regard sin²θ+cos²θ = 1 as the more important. In terms of elegance, e*iπ + 1 = 0 has the edge for me.

Euler - he did much much more - - pythagoras  just  sortta stopped at his theorem.

All right then, tell us the difference between +0 and -0. Does that count?

I failed maths O level, but I am fascinated by it.

Surely you can't compare people from different eras like this, as each piece of knowledge builds on previous discoveries.

I'd suggest +0 is 1/n where n approaches infinity, and -0 is -1/n or 1/(-n) where n approaches infinity

20:27, I'm ok at maths but when I meet an actual mathmetician I realise how *** I am! But lately I have been devoting a lot of time to learning it and i love it.

I like reading about it ttt even though I don't understand what I'm reading most of the time. Astrophysics falls into the same category for me.
