I'm sorry to choose your thread on which to say this mercedes24 as it isn't just directed at you, there are lots of people that do it....but I really get annoyed at questions posed like this. If one were to be asking for information face to face, one would be a little more polite and begin by asking 'Could you please explain...' or even 'I have been set this question for homework, could someone please help me explain...'
Maybe I'm just a miserable, middle-aged, old trout, but I still think that good manners should be used even on a Q&A website. It's the fundamental difference between asking a question and simply demanding an answer.
Yes, I may sound like Victor Meldrew, but I'm sure I can't be the only person who gets irritated by this. I'm quite sure that it isn't intentional to come across all demanding, but nonetheless, that is the way it comes across.
