A few years ago Invitrogen were giving CDs away which included "AlignX" DNA analysis software. Needless to say I've lost my copy and was wondering if anyone out there had this and would be prepared to do me a copy?
Thanks, John

I've just spent the past hour trying to hunt out a copy of AlignX that I know is somewhere in my study and I'll be only too willing to burn you a copy if I come across it.
AlignX has been incorporated for some time in Invitrogen's Vector NTI Advance software package for desktop DNA and protein sequence analysis. We use v11 of the software daily in uni but its run from workstations and I access it at home from a uni server installed in my study.
I'll check with the relevant staff at uni tomorrow about sourcing the software internally. In the meantime, I know that Invitrogen are very customer orientated and it might be worthwhile giving them a ring on 0141 814 6350 to see if they'll send you a copy of AlignX gratis. Explain that you've mislaid your own copy. Let me know the outcome.
