Is it true that all the planets in the solar system will be in alignment in 2012, and if so will it have any effects on earth, such as on gravity or the electromagnetic field?

If your curious to see if planetary alignment causes any strange effects then keep your eyes peeled for strange things happening because the next big alignment starts tomorrow (june 13th 2010) when six of the main planets will start coming into alignment.

no, even if they did it would'nt make much difference. Gravity is an incredibly weak force and the distances involved lessen even that.
