So I've gone out today, bought all my family Xmas cards, written in them and hand delivered them all.
Okay, it's only October, so is this wrong, or am I just well organised ??
In my defense, I do usually go away for 2 weeks over Xmas :)

@ aelmpvw - tempting idea, but I'll hopefully be in Tenerife on boxing day :)
You sound as well organised as these two on Halloween night, last year. After I gave them "goodies" they asked if I wanted a carol sung. When I said it's too early they replied"it'll save coming back again".
You know those cards you can put in your window....'no doorstep traders'? One for 'no Christmas cards before the 15th of December' would be useful. Most people-sane ones that is-dont want to hear the dreaded C word yet.
I buy all mine in the post-Christmas sales. But I don't send them then, I wait till next December.
Those folk who have received cards early from you might forget you've sent them Christmas cards earlier when 'that' time comes.
you've time to hand deliver them if they are going to australia canada or hong kong.
Not well organized, just anal. As for the people who buy their cards in sales after Christmas, well that's really quite sad. Just to save a couple of quid?
sorry!.......Still far too early!........I hate early Christmas cards, never know what to do with them, can't put them up, it's too early!......
If you were my friend I'd be clenching my teeth and cursing you under my breath..
If you were my friend I would consider getting you sectioned.
I really dont do Xmas cards, waste of time and money, if I want to wish someone happy Xmas I say it to their face or over a telephone.
I'd be really upset if someone were to give me a Christmas Card in October. I'd probably throw it away to be honest; it would be most unwelcome sorry.

Xmas pressies next :)
I send out about100 cards every year, and to save time, I sign them as I buy them. That means that my card box is full of signed cards and all i have to do is to address the envelopes and seal them. I must admit to putting my Christmas tree up in the second week of November. I have put it up on the weekend nearest my birthday (12 th) for over 30 yrs!
I am getting on with my accounts for the year ending April 4 2014.
It is neva too early to the tax man to call YOU so I thought I would be prepared.
too early and i almost started screaming the other day when i heard a Christmas song in one shop, then went to another to escape the din, they were playing another Christmas song, i hate it.
i can't abide that it all starts so early now, in September we had some shops with Christmas goodies, its madness considering that some were just going or coming back from their summer holidays, and that the sun was doing a good job for once of making people cheerful, so be faced with the prospect of winter wasn't a good thought for me.
