This evening, I have just seen my first house with all the christmas lights flashing away in the windows so Christmas has started. It`s official.

Do they know that we are trying to save power .Should be made to get a licence if they light up before 20th of December .Shops should also be fine if the put stuff on the shelves before june is out. Mary and Joseph have not got the census forms yet.
Now that IS shocking, that is awful!
We had Christmas stuff in the shops way before Halloween or bonfire night, damned silly, but people are just as daft for buying it. some people near us, who are on all sorts of benefits and considered the poorest in the village, always have a garden full of lighted snowmen, santas and trees, every wall is covered as well, from now till the end of January, I can only afford two strands of lights, and they are on a timer so as not to waste to much electricity.
You have to be kidding!
Mine are all battery operated LED's on timers.
No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No!
I like my tree up and I love the lights but they go up about a week before Christmas and stay up till 12th night then they are back in their boxes for another year.
For Funks Sake!!!!!!
Hey, wait a minute they might have just been putting up their lights to try them out... need to see them over the next few nights to see if they're going to be permanent. My town has put up lights but will only be lit up as from 1st December.
