you are joking
The latest I've started my Christmas shopping was 3pm on Christmas Eve. That included all of the Christmas cards I had to post!

If I happen to see something in the shops now that I think would make a nice pressie for someone, I might buy it but I'm definitely not doing any 'deliberate' Christmas shopping for many weeks yet!
My only thoughts about Xmas is of my getting through the whole festive period without a mental meltdown.

I am terrified of windy (very windy) weather and it seems to arrive at the end of the year and beginning of January.

:-(
I saw a beautifully laid out Christmas Area in Homebase last week, but thought Noooooooo and walked on by.

My other half wants a tree but only because we now have cats and he wants to watch them attack it. I doubt we'll bother though as we don't usually. I may get a few bits for the fireplace and window sills though.
If I see ToWeR's tree
I start to cry
Walk on by
This is only November
not December
wait till you buy ......
Apart from in the shops I haven't seen anything Christmassy yet. There is a house near me that is normally covered in decs. Actually I think that may be where the craze started. Around 20 - 30 years ago the owner put a Blue Marlin on his roof and loads of other decs and people came from miles to see it. And it wasn't even Christmas.
Yes, about two thirds of presents bought, 2 arrived by post this morning. I have to start Christmas shopping early in the year as I simply couldn't afford it all in my December wage, plus it's also Mini Boo's birthday at the beginning of that month too.
14 of my presents arrived this morning (they're all the same thing, so that was easy, and they were discounted by 60% for a week, so that was even easier)
I do more home accessories than christmas decs. Last year I started collecting cushions and bought a red and white throw and I like to put battery operated fairy lights everywhere. I don't do a big tree any more, just a little one on a table. While I don't rush out looking, I buy nice things as I see them because otherwise they sell out. Haven't started making my own cards yet but I don't send many. I have really enjoyed making cards to give to two small good causes.
has anyone got those xmas trees that you can stick to the wall ?
I've seen lots of decorations that have snow falling out of them - like this http://www.therange.co.uk/snowing-snowman-tree/christmas-trees/the-range/fcp-product/49446

Not saying I want one or even actually like them, just slightly obsessed with them (thing 1 would particularly love one).
I've only got 1 present left to buy............
I had my first 2 cards delivered today and as I had already sat yesterday and wrote out the ones I had post, I thought I had better send them off so I have, so second class post but plenty time, almost done on the pressies too but don't buy for many so that's a good thing. seen some lights outside folks houses and towns seem to have their lights on but I am not far ahead with that idea yet.
