I like champagne with a slightly salted taste
excellent Ric ror - is the cheap stuff at Tesco's, champagne with a salty taste ?
.... OK OK I suppose the answer is: it is once it has been over the floor .....
The good stuff is still expensive in Tesco ('cos I checked just a few hours ago). Their best value bubbly at the moment is probably their 'Finest' Pignoletto at £6.99.
I really try to let champers (and any fizzy wine) sit for 2 days before opening it to let it recover from being shaken up.
