For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Oh no......no turkey sandwiches, cold turkey and bubble and squeak, turkey omelette, turkey curry, turkey soup. turkey stir fry etc etc etc.... you are going to have to cook all those meals instead of relying on the good old turkey. I would rather just cook the one meal and live off it untill new year's eve.....!!
I will be cooking for 9 as well Christmas day. No problem just as easy as cooking for 2 you just cook bigger portions.
The Turkey, Gammon , Pork and beef all go in the oven at the same time and cook on 'Slow' for 8 hours overnight. Next morning it is just roast spuds and veg to cook. Cooking on slow is great no need for timing and all the meat is juicy and tender. Turkey is cooked breast side down of course , so the juices run down into the breast meat.
