On the first day she receives just the partridge in the pear tree
On the second day along with the 2 turtle doves, she gets another partridge in a pear tree
On the second day of Christmas, my true love sent to me
Two turtle doves
and a partridge in a pear tree
and that continues all the way till the 12th day..
well thats my take on it anyway..Muffets answer can also be correct
It also depends on whether for example you count ten maids a milking (or whatever it is) as 10 presents or one. Comes to a lot more than 364 if the former.
Oooh, never had that take on it before. I always just though one set of things was delivered on each day, not all of them. How much would all that cost? Go on, work it out someone....
