Just got odds and sods to get, mainly Mini Boo's, managed to get her one item, but I really struggle to find time when I'm not actually with her to enable me to to buy owt without her going "MINE" at it (she's 2)
No food to buy as we going to my sister in laws for Christmas dinner, I said i'd do the ham...so only that to buy, food wise.
divegirl...........can i just say ( been dying to say it for ages but you disappeared) toooooo Random hehehe
its just that thats what you always 'used' to put on my posts! lol anyway, me too am ALL done, spent 3 hours last night wrapping up etc.. so if its not been bought, then its tough, we are also going out for xmas lunch and am really sooking forward to not having to cook!
enjoy your day xx.
I was smug this year, had the tree up on the 1st December with all the presents wrapped and under the tree by 8th!!!! Slightly gutted now because buying presents a month in advance means you miss out on the pre Christmas sales and a few presents i have purchased are now in the sales :(
Curlyperm....was just that I was a bit flumoxed as to how we were supposed to know where a random [to me] person was....lol...... I now know the power of AB....and that we can find any one!!!! [now there's a scary thought].
Yep....just got to get the food for the big day. I'm pretty organised this year.....all presents sorted, all the nic-nak foods such as biscuits, sweets, mince pies, cheeses etc are bought and all decorations are up.
Got 8 of us for dinner this year and we're all going to sit out in the conservatory which i've just finnished decorating.
I'm wrapping prezzies this afternoon and will only know then if I've got everyones. I can't remember they are all over the spare bedroom floor at the moment.
Tree and decorations up (apart from the ones around the front door in dispute with husband about those at the moment - who will win!!!??)
Food being delivered on Tuesday from Sainsburys then buying the fresh bits Saturday. Got loads of wine though so if all goes t*ts up it doesn't matter!!
Merry Christmas Lisa :o) and well done for being so organised.
Athley...love the bit about not knowing if you've got every ones presents...... I buy loads and forget what I've bought...... The best one this year has to be.... bought myself 3 DVD's [single Mum...so I buy myself a few bits, give them to my son and he tells my daughter Father Christmas dropped them round for her to wrap] and have forgotten what I bought....so I've actually bought myself a surprise Christmas present.....beat that.....lol
Oh well done on getting yourself a surprise present and forgetting what it is - that has to be a first. I hope you'll be pleased with the surprises you bought - he he!!
Totally agree normanthedog, but it's a special day for my children and myself....So I posted a harmless and fun thread to talk about it....you chose to reply in a negative manner about something you obviously don't enjoy in a section you should maybe keep out of.....
Off to help my neighbour wrap some presents now...The joys of Christmas....maybe it's not just one day eh norman!
i am done as well, with miss mini boobs being so young (12 weeks) i wanted to get organised before her naps got shorter, i have been done for weeks, very annoying as now i have a reallllllllly long wait!
Christ normanthedog, why dont you just go on Arts/literature or History or something?? that'll keep you busy (hopefully till new year ) then you can join us on Shopping and friggin well moan about all the sales!!!
god whats yer problem? : )
