Just wondering, are there any firms that sell a Christmas Pudding with a silver coin in it? Don't want to buy one as I am them only one that eats it in this house, just curious.

I bet Harrods do.... my dad used to just shove a sixpence inside.
No.

Their insurers won't cover them for the risk of broken teeth sustained by prospective super models !!!
Health and safety would have a fit!
That is indeed so true.... and probably they have to be careful - like the nut allergies "warning, this pudding contains cupro-nickel"
They only did that when the coins were actually made of silver. They aren't now. I don't really fancy a dirty old coin in my pudding - you don't know where they might have been do you?
I wouldn't want to risk someone swallowing a precious silver sixpence in this current economic climate ... :-))

They are still legal tender, right? <---------------- old phart.
