Stephen Fry hilarious?

He's about as funny as a dose
I watch everything he does..he's brilliant...I'd even go square dos with Gness for him !!
Minty....with Mr Fry as the prize I'd win.....☻
Where's me sparkly...?? Time to practice Boston crab and slam dunk !! Lol....how about week about ?
LOVE him. He's so witty and very clever.
As I need to get the decorating done week about will suit me, Minty...just don't wear the dish out.....♥

Must admit there is a good quote here, although not one I will be using!

Sorry, breadstick but I fall into the "can't stand him" category. He's smug, smarmy, smug and oh yes, SMUG!!
I used to like him then I thought have I actually heard him say one original thing worth remembering?
Now I realise he's just good at remembering things
A bit like any pub quiz bore
Oh no Ric, there's a hell of a brain in there, not just a good memory.

Mind you, not everyone would like what he says.

Martine McCutcheon thought he was clever that's why she had him as her 'Phone a Friend". Big mistake as explained 3rd para down.

A great man, in my opinion. He really doesn't take himself too seriously but when the subject is serious he is considered, intelligent debater.

I've been a fan of his since his early days. He did go a bit off course in QI three series ago and was far too smutty with all the references to choir boys bottoms and so on, but he's back on track now.
'with all the references to choir boys bottoms'

Typical of his type, one joke 'comedians' who try to get laughs out of male anal sex references (see also Graham Norton, Julian Clary et al)
I sometimes wish I knew half as much as he thinks he knows.
