on their goods, ones which take an age to get off, or don't, as i
found out. Can't they come up with a better way of pricing goods.

its all the covering their arse sorts of labels

price label
care label
security tab
security warning (once you remove this your product is void type)
manufacturers label

I suppose it makes it more challenging for shoplifters?
This really bugs me, so many labels and stuck in places which are hard to remove. Bought a pair of joggers recently and when the label was removed left a permanent mark, endless chore of picking off labels and whilst on the subject why do manufacturers have to put labels on the inside collars of shirts etc they irritate the skin put them on the inside at the tail end.

i bought three items from a well known store, and they had three labels on each, none of which i could get off, elbow grease, water, soap, and cif, believe me i was jumping up and down by then. I did take them back and got a refund, but the nuisance was i liked them, and don't understand the idea you have to have price, sale price, and whatever else they stick on

not quite, and not just tupperware, but jars, bottles, crockery, food containers, endless things, the sticky labels are often very hard to get off, i have ruined items just by taking a scrubbing brush to them, when all else failed.
Labels on lots of toys say something like 'please retain this label for future reference' - why would I want all those bloody labels?
A tiny dab of WD40 will get rid of sticky stuff ...just like that :)
Question Author
not if the item is fragile like the bowls i had. i am sure you couldn't use anything like wd40, i ruined one, not deliberately, because the damn label stuck, and took the patina off the bowl

bought a cd as a gift for a friend, it had three labels, two price tags, and another to do with what was on cd, bizarre.
