Which Bike to buy?

I am going to buy a bike soon and I was wondering which are best: the twin suspension or the standard model.

Does anybody own a twin suspension bike? If so are they good at preventing a sore rear end?

I want a bike which will give a smooth ride rather than a sore bum.

My limited experience says go for the twin suspenson and a gel saddle for the most comfort.

personally i prefer a standard bike (front suspension only). depends how hard your gonna ride the bike tho. never owned a full suspension bike, but the many that ive riden are all too bouncy when pedling, especially uphill, until the rear suspension is wound up tight. this meaning that you may aswell get a front suspension bike.
