I would definitely buy it. I have two of these suitcases and they are brilliant. They have been all over with me, and on all sorts of flights (including Ryanair). They are NOT flimsy. They are made of parachute material, and if they should (mine haven't) get hole in them then they are (or so I've been told) not 'ladder' or 'run', they'll just have the hole in...

Personally, em, I wouldn't buy nylon soft-sided luggage if you are intending to travel abroad, particularly flying. Nylon is flimsy, too easy for people to slash, the luggage gets chucked around. We do have soft luggage but it's made of a robust fabric with stout zips, and is still going strong after something like 8 years. Those wheels and handle look quite flimsy too.
These on eBay look far more substantial, for similar prices http://www.ebay.co.uk...at=See-All-Categories

Depends on the amount of travelling you are doing - if its just for an annual trip abroad then it will probably be fine as even expensive luggage can be damaged with rough handling at airports. Just a tip - check all measurements carefully though, especially if going by Ryanair, they are so crafty, they never bother at our (uk) end but Ryanair are so hot on measurements and weight when you are travelling back - the family in front of us had a little child's case shaped like an animal, it was harmless enough and so small, just a strange shape with its "arms and legs" so wouldn't fit in the suitcase measuring device as that is straight up and down ..... I felt sorry for the mother as she had to pay a lot extra coming home, it was perfectly ok when travelling out she said.

I have used my original one on at least 6 trips abroad (that's 12 flights), and it's still as good as new. It was so good I bought another one for my son.
They are REALLY light, which is great if you travel with budget airlines (as I usually do), as you can get more stuff in!
