I understand that it is prohibited for large stores to open on Christmas Day and Easter Sunday in England and Wales, although this restriction does not extend to Scotland.

Are there any similar restrictions in Northern Ireland regarding these days or indeed any Public Holidays in the province?

(I am not asking about NI Sunday trading restrictions with which I'm already familiar.)

Thanks in advance

Easter Sunday is Fine. It used to be Good Friday and Xmas Day but I'm not sure they are prohibited at all now. They choose to close on Xmas day, I think though I stand to be corrected as I haven't actually researched this. NI I think is the same.
