What happens to seasonal stuff in shops?
9 Answers
There must have been loads of Christmas stuff unsold from small shops to huge chains. Same at halloween, Easter, Valentines etc.
Something that has always puzzled me is what happens to it all?
Invariably next years ranges, theme's, colours and packaging/prices etc are very different and I am sure we do not see it again so what happens to it all.
Someone must know. Anybody?

Other seasonal stuff like BBQ sets for example, we just store in the warehouse until the following summer.

I think the same thing mjwman, but more so with clothes. So many clothes shops and so many clothes. And then at the change of season, they all change. Where do they all go ? Thousands and thousand of items unsold, they don't all go in the sale, they just vanish from our shops and in comes a new lot.
