Size 16 Jeans
7 Answers
I am a size 16 - and very happy with it - but have problems finding cool jeans that fit me. I like surf / street / urban style clothing but find they genreally go up to a small size 14. Does anyone have any clues about a good stockist of cool jeans in a 16 in London.

The answer is to buy men's jeans - they're in waist measurements, which is much easier to judge, and the styles are mostly pretty similar. They might be a bit long in the leg but you can always cut them off.
Try Fat Face for surf type stuff, I dont know if there is one in London but they do fabby mail order www.fatface.com
I bought some really nice ones from Zara, but have found recently the size 16's barely pass my knees, and I certainly havent put on that much weight since my last purchase!! ;-) I did manage to get some really nice ones from Dorothy Perkins, which really surprised me. Dark Denim with the creases in, less than 40 quid as well. Also, might take a bit of rooting round but TK Maxx are sometimes ok for jeans. Happy hunting.
check out places that stock Bench jeans, they're really good, measured by waist/hip size and come in a variety of lengths. Plus they do combats and other styles of trousers that all use the same measurements. You'll probably find them more in places like Original Shoe Company or Cult (presume you have shops like that, i think you do). They're normally about 50-65 pounds
