Is anyone else noticing the wide range of prices from one retailer to another for the very same item? It's getting crazy ...... and as well as this these multi buy offers, are really taking the Micky ...... 6 creme eggs for £2 and 3 for £1.50 in the same shop! It's all a scam - and getting more annoying! Perhaps the Communists have it right with static pricing?

You certainly have to keep on the ball - often buying single items can be more economic that a multi-purchase offer.
I don't agree it's a scam, at all and don't want to go back to retail price maintenance - *that* was the scam. (incidentally, my local Waitrose had Creme Eggs 13p each or Box of three for 38p yesterday- I got several boxes!).
A local shop here was selling 3 creme eggs for only £1 !!! I didnt buy any of course. It is amazing how they vary. You really have to keep your eyes peeled now to get the bargains
Today in Tesco. Philadelphia Cheese 200gm tubs, two (400gm) for £2.00. One 300gm tub, £2.37.
I have already remarked on another thread today that it is cheaper to buy 2 x 4 pints of milk at Iceland than to buy 1 x 6 pints.
Morrisons, Crunchy nut cornflakes: £1.57 600g box, next to them same item but 300g box:£2.38,and people were buying the smaller box!!
