after bidding for something on ebay and changing your mind is there any way to stop your bid?,had sweat on i bid for dvds only to read after i bid they were in chinese with sub titles,never so glad to be outbid in my life wow.

You could just put wrong amount bid. They don't question it!

Retractions are generally frowned on, and reported in your "Feedback as a buyer", BUT unless you make a habit of it it's usually OK - ebay certainly don't investigate the odd one here or there in my experience.

And as earlier response mentioned, just use any of the supplied reason if yours isn't there.
