Underwear?

OK, all the usual pervs shouldn't get too excited about this question...

I've got a wedding in a couple of months and I'm looking for suggestions/recommendations about figure shaping underwear. Just looking for something that will smooth out the post-baby lumps and bumps a bit. I don't want to look like a badly stuffed sausage, just make my lardy bits a bit less lumpy.

Any ideas? (Other than drastic surgery?)

Have you tried asking on line, specifically shape wear underwear for women. I found it a boon when it came to choosing a mens site for boxer briefs.
Spanx are by far the best, the cheaper imitations tend to just squeeze the fat out past the seams which gives even worse lumps.

Jeez, daffy, I just had a mental image of all my fat bursting out of the seams of a pair of massive pants.

Like a big bunch of grapes...
Couldn't you wear something 'flowing' (save all the arsing about)?

I'd have to invest in a marquee, sher!

I may well go for comfort over glamour though. Really need to get my finger out and shift the baby weight.

Maybe I should just have another one. That will give me another year before I have to start eating salads and (God forbid) getting exercise.
a high class waspie or shaper from someone like Aubade, Fantasie, Fauve or Triumph.....(don't mention the garters for the Gerbe/Falke/Wolford stockings, or Sqad may get very excited....)
Gossard too if you are of a more generous proportion.....
gok wans stuff is very good
Pmsl at that image.
I'm hoping you know what I really meant!
I bought a cheaper version of some spanx long pants and all it did was give me a weird VPL, but half way down my thighs, and they squashed the waist fat up under my ribs, it wasn't a pretty sight at all! and i'm not huge to start with (size 12) just very wobbly and untoned :-/
On the plus side, if you had more children you wouldn't have time to eat properly and the weight would fall off you (it was such a strain being pregnant with the things that I actually lost weight). x

I seem to spend the whole day running after #1 (who has taken up pooping in the garden - she gets it from her father's side), and picking up #2 who is learning to walk (like a tiny drunk person).

I do not know why I'm not a size 10!
Question Author
I'm now investigating all the options on t'interweb.

Just one question - how on earth do you go to the loo when you're wearing these things??
unclip from underneath.....
As a bloke who does not know about women's undergear, I would suggest very patiently when skipping off to the loo.

DTC, you know far too much about women's undies!
M&S do some great underwear of this type.. personally, I would go shopiing and try them on, rather than buy online.
I've just had a look - they all look so uncomfortable (and bloody expensive).
' (save all the arsing about)?

sherrardk, thats what she is trying to save !.
(i) ex wore them

(ii) who knows, I may write about them!
I can imagine the title already wordfan ;)
