Can anyone recommend a good detangler please.
One of the old ladies my sister looks after has waistlength hair that is very tangled. Sister doesn't want to tug at the poor old dear's hair and hurt her.
Ive got a brush from Boots called a Tangle Teezer (£10ish though). It looks a bit like something you would use to clean an animal but it doesn't pull or tug and works better than a detangling spray. I use it on both of my daughters - one has thick waist length hair and one is just a scruffy urchin (her hair just gets messed up).

Ordered the Tangle Teezer, thank you sherrardk.
Ordered some detangler conditioner too, will follow the instructions on your link, thank you Buenchico.
Got the Tangle Teezer brush, and some Elvive spray.
Did I say her hair was tangled, it was MATTED, more so on the side she slept on. Sis couldn't do it, so I ended up detangling, almost 3 hours it took me.
Thing was.... on the brush it advised starting at the scalp. That was too painful for the lady, so I started at the ends and worked the Elvive in then teased with the brush.
Thank you all who advised.
