Where can I buy a pan like this
Amazon.co.uk User Recommendation
without ,what to me ,is a hefty price tag for something that will only be used occasionally.Mr S has a fancy for toad in the hole and I'm finding it increasingly difficult to juggle pans in and out of ovens which contain hot fat.

Ah Philomena was good, at first I couldn't stand Judi Dench in it, she was like a silly old woman the type I cannot abide, but lovely in the end. Yes I had a little weep.
Blowing a hooley here, we already have the fire on and it is dark and grey outide. All my sweaters and trousers that I washed are now dry!

Oh noooo Woofy .Hope it soon settles .Food which once suited doesn't always suit these days does it ?
Very uneventful day here .Mr S had a letter saying his scan was clear and he has to see the consultant first week in March .
We've bought a new computer ,with advice from Picky, which should arrive in the week .We are updating to Windows 8 I think .
Hope you can get your TV sorted Neti .
We can't have you missing your fave progs .
I watched the second part of the Three Cousins Jno .It was very interesting . I can't help thinking had Edward V11 lived longer perhaps there wouldn't have been a war .
Blowing a gale here again and raining on and off .Another noisy night ahead .
Sleep toight though .

still hooleying here. Dogs have been out and hunted the garden and come back in dry for a miracle. I have had a large glass of a liqueur called The King's Ginger, its jolly spicy and warming and stomach has mostly settled. It was stupid really, I wasn't that keen when I tasted it but I was hungry and it was cooked so I ate it. Oh well.....
Morning all, hope you haven't been blown away, the wind's been awful overnight here, is it ever going to calm down? The sandpaper throat and snotty sinuses aren't helping me to sleep either.
Oh dear woofy, you didn't eat the crispy noodles raw did you? :) I vaguely recall having a vesta meal for old time's sake and it not doing me any favours...I like Sainsbury's chow mein for a quick ding dinner.

still blustering away out there but no rain. We are going to the new Globe theatre tonight - not the open-air one, they've just opened a new, covered one next door in Jacobean style - sounds as if it's all lit with candles or something. I've got tickets close to the stage so I'll be able to hear things, I hope, but I don't know how good Jacobean acoustics were.
Morning all
Still blowing a gale here but it's not raining .Quelle surprise .
This weather isn't doing my aches and ologies any favours either .
I have never eaten a Vesta meal .I remember them in the shops though Mother would have dismissed them as "foreign muck " ..lol. She didn't even like baked beans and would never buy mince .
Mind you once she got over it she used to love to go a Chinese restaurant . I wonder what she would say if she could see all the ready meals you can get now !

lol shaney, she sounds like my mum, I don't remember ever having mince and she hated handling raw poultry but we did have beans. She used the 'foreign muck' phrase but when she broke her arm and couldn't cook a lot I introduced her to mild curry, which she loved...and then a Chinese lady moved next door to her and took plates of finger food across and she loved that too! I once bought her a pot noodle 'cos she said she'd never had one....I can't repeat her review of it....hahaha.
good morning all. Stomach more or less recovered and we had a late night, well early morning actually. but all slept well. Its cold and bright here, very windy and the dogs have gone back to sleep.
My Mum and Dad liked to try new food. I can remember going out somewhere with them on a day trip, just me, my older sisters were doing something else and we went to an indian restaurant for dinner. They both had a curry and I ordered a steak! None of this foreign muck for yours truly at age about 13!!!
I watched the Torvill and Dean documentary on catch up last night. They truly are amazing. At the time. it was said to herald a new direction for ice dance but no one seemed to take on their mantle....

Afternoon all, been shopping and then we went for a big walk all around the cathedral, Dalt villa and Sa Penya in Ibiza, it's all steps and cobbles and tiny streets and beautiful views, my hips were screaming with climbing up and down and was so worried I would slip over, but all is fine. We ate a small lunch in a little restaurant in Ibiza town, only ordered bread and ali oli and olives and Mr N had a pizza and I had spag bol which was very nice but we just couldn't eat more, we discovered this fact last time we ate there a couple of weeks ago and had to bring most of the meat home!!
Now cloudy and chilly but it was a lovely time, really enjoyed it.

Me with the local famous poet Isadoro Macabich, he died in 1973, so didn't show much emotion at being next to me!
