without ,what to me ,is a hefty price tag for something that will only be used occasionally.Mr S has a fancy for toad in the hole and I'm finding it increasingly difficult to juggle pans in and out of ovens which contain hot fat.

Morning all
Not a bad one considering we're sitting in a dust bowl .Not a breath of wind to clear it away either .I wondered why my eyes were itching and watering when I went out on Tuesday and the air seemed so thick .
Lol... Some funny ones there Jno especially number 13 about the seagulls.

You can have my head Woofy ....two heads are better than one but I don't hold out much hope. I put stuff safely away and can't find it again :)

Back from hairdressers, my usual one wasn't there so had her boyfriend, it looks OK just that I muddled the words short and thin, I want the back long and thin, now it's short and looks 'orrible, shows a multitude of colour, grey, dark blonde and blonde so am just doing it now.

Still sneezing and snuffling for ritian.

My young friend had a biopsy on her brain, she's coherent at least.

I've put in dark blonde streaks and now I look ginger, awful! Will wait and see when it dries, then will off to shop to gt a blonde colour!!

Good afternoon all...we're a quarter way through the year, we've altered the clocks and suddenly the days are going by so fast. I can't keep up....and I'm not liking this smoggy gloom, it's making me feel very tetchy.

i'VE GIVEN UP ON lAW AND oRDER, JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND IT. sorry not redoing all that!

Hair's been washed again with blue shampoo and is passable, I shall blame the red on the sahara sand. Just spend half an hour hosing and brushing down the patio and furniture and cleaning the pool. Now it's raining again, just hope it clean rain.

I washed all the bathroom towels etc as it had brightened up but now they are under the patio roof, hopefully where the red rain won't get to them.

No idea what to make for dinner!

still searching for a thinkin ead. I did a waitrose delivery order yesterday and booked the wrong delivery time so I as out at the hairdressers. Lovely Waitrose redelivered when i got home

Tried to make putanesca sauce but had no capers, so had to improvise and used chopped gherkins, anchovies, black olives, garlic and parsley and bunged in the remaining mushrooms that were going crinkly - have to say it was delicious, I used spicy ginger sauce for the heat and it was bearable, Mr N of course would prefer scotch bonnet type heat.

and tis peeing down again here although looks cleanish rain (fingers crossed). am nice and clean and in bed, I love it when all is clean and tidy, won't be next week when hija arrives.

I was ancestor hunting all day. I found one lighthouse keeper washed away to his doom because he couldn't swim; another lad who could swim but got cramp and drowned; one man gored to death by his bull; and a man who married his son's wife's mother (they were both widowed and not blood relations of course, but it all seems a bit Woody Allenish).

A particularly ill-omened branch of the family, that one. Though at least they haven't got a serial killer among them, unlike one of the other far-flung branches.

Oh jno I think i am related by cramp to you and yours, by golly the leg muscle hurts today.

Wish I hadn't beggared about with my hair colour, it's not too bad but do not like it, so will have to buy a colour today and (hopefully) sort it out.

Rained overnight but I think it was cleanish rain, fingers crossed.

Right onwards and upwards for me, which basically means I have to get up, daren't shake a leg it will hurt!!

Morning all...I'm less hale & hearty, more pale and fa....well, never mind. This awful gloomy weather's making everything hurt x 10.

Sleeves! Why are they so tight on a lot of things? I've got pipe cleaner arms so I've no idea how anyone with more flesh or muscle goes on without having to buy a bigger size...and then the body's too big. I blame the government.

Hope you/we all feel better for the weekend.

David Cameron keeps emailing me nearly every day me to tell me how well off I am under this government and invites me to share his email to others .
There is a bit where you can opt of the email but you have to give a reason why...so I've given him a reason;)

Warm and sunny here, 2 loads of washing blowing in the sun and breeze, lovely, and no one as yet has lit a bonfire!!

I feel a lot better, although am still sniffy!
