Can anyone remember the menswear chain found on High Streets in 80s/90s Usually had smallish shops. Not sure if they went bust or not. I know there was one in Lymington which is now a Millets and another in Boscombe. I am sure there were more shops

Could that be the retailer you're thinking of?
Although my OH lived in Boscombe in the 90s and when I asked him he came straight back with Fosters
Yay me!

Ooh, look ... from Chris's link ...

" Mr Dunn was a modern thinker. He was the first man in Britain to own a combine harvester. Before he died in 1939 he also opened a vegetarian hotel //

A vegetarian hotel ??!!
// A vegetarian hotel ??!!//

I bet they didn't allow Carrots & Parsnips in the same bed.
I think Fosters where renamed D2 in the 90's.
Greenwoods existed in my home town of Selby until a couple of months ago. Shirts starting at £18! I'm surprised they lasted that long.
Googles "Selby"
Mr Dunn was tailor for many years when I was a young blade, I still wear one of his caps.

John Collier? (The window to watch)
