28 Answers
I love shopping especially bargain hunting but lately shopping has been uncomfortable, loud music in stores and uncontrollable children, went shopping today in our local mall loud music in every store and in mall as well and parents letting their kids run riot, think I will wait until holiday time is over, one store today had music so loud had to leave, shopping gripe over!

My local NatWest bank has recently had a refit and have now decided to start playing music.
Went in there at 10:00am the other morning at some loud heavy metal track was on.
I had a moan at the lady and asked her who on earth wants to listen to a heavy metal track at 10:00am but she said she could not do anything about it.
I told her I planed to move my account to another branch and when I get back from my holiday at the end of August I will move to another company.

At no time was shopping ever "a pleasure". It's always been a bind, a necessary evil. The only way to deal with shopping is to make a list and go an get, as quickly as possible, what you need.
It has become even more of a nightmare in recent years as most of today's retaillers have little or no idea of catering for the needs of their customers.

I can just about bear music...I tend to tune it out. What I can't tolerate is human noise... the never ending babble...and unruly kids. I almost tripped over several who were camped on the floor,in a narrow space, the other day. Parents seem totally unconcerned about how their kids behaviour impacts on others.
