Does anyone know where you can buy the stiff (?possibly cardboard backed) felt that you find in a presentation box? The sort of thing you might find in a box from a jewellers or a trophy presentation case (usually black or dark blue)??
Many thanks

BB, don't know where you live but there is a shop here in Brighton called C & H Fabrics (they have other branches) and they sell all kinds of stuff. always email them, check their website etc, to ask if they stock it. As I say, they have a really large range of all kinds of fabrics. I know that John Lewis also may be able to help. Good luck !!
BB, not sure where you are, but find a good haberdashery & stationers for felt & fabric glue/ card & it's easy to put together yourself.

^ LOL! x
Nearest large store's haberdashery department would have been my first port of call too.
Hobby and craft shops also sell it. and model shops.
You can buy fablon ( sticky-back plastic) in velour finish. Green ( like baize ) , black and dark blue, to my knowledge. And maybe red, but not so sure about that. You can then cover anything you like.
Put "+fablon +velour" into any well-known search engine. Or any well-known online bookseller.
You've had lots of answers, Bab....but I felt I wanted to add...I have used Atlanta's method for boxes and it works brilliantly....x
