Self Scan Checkouts Are A Nightmare
151 Answers
I went shopping to Morrisons with my parents and what should have been an easy task took over 20 minutes with there being 1 person serving at the self scan checkouts of 8 people who all had problems at the same time such as incorrect item in bag, take the last item out of the bag item not recognised etc etc. Never again it should come with a health warning for people suffering from high blood pressure not to use them.

Try going to B&Q. I recently purchased four 20KG bags of powdered tile cement and the employee overseeing the self-service area insisted I take all four bags out of the trolley one by one, scan them one by one and place them in the packaging area all by myself. At the end of the transaction, I had to load them back in the trolley myself. No compassion for the fact I'm near pension age and infirm. No offer of assistance. What the hell is wrong with these people?
I'd already had to take them off the pallet on the shop floor and load them in the trolley myself before I got to the checkout!
