My son-in-law's nephew has bought some new trainers.
They cost him the princely sum of £495-00.... The world has gone mad and he's got more money than sense!

Ken, what about your money spent on gambling??
The last pair of shoes I bought cost well over £400 but they should last at least 10 years, like the other ones I have.
Some early and limited designs are worth a load of money now.
His money his choice.
A recent question on The Chase was how much was a pair of a brand of expensive trainers and the answer was over 2 million quid.
That's fashion! How long they'll stay fashionable is unknown of course. I wouldn't spend that much but his money, his choice.
Now that's really daft, baza.
£299 for a dyson hair blower...just blowing in the wind!
