On of my uncles bought himself a new electric shaver from Boots, last week. The assistant asked him if he had an Advantage Card and he replied, saying he didn't have one.
She then asked him if he knew someone who did because there were a lot of points to be gained from the sale.
Consequently, he has sent the receipt to me saying that I can take it into my local Boots and get the points added to my card.
Yes, it does. It says 'Please retain this receipt so that your points can be added when you next visit any UK store with your Advantage Card within the next 30days.'
I remember going into Boots a while ago and purchasing something when I didn't have my Boots Advantage card with me.
The cashier told me to keep the receipt, as I could add the points to my card the next time I called in.
I'd only bought something of small value (approx £5 if I remember correctly), so I knew it wouldn't be worth much in terms of points, so I never bothered :(
Yes. You can have points added later, but I don't know if it has to be the same Boots as where the purchase was made. Probably not, so I would certainly give it a try. Lots of other cards let you put points on from things bought in other branches, so I'm sure it will be all right.
