Sainsbury's Elderly
12 Answers
I've read the email saying the elderly are getting the first hour to shop in store
I've been trying to look on their website and elsewhere what age elderly is
Is it 70 and over?
Is it every day or just Thursday
That this hour is available for the elderly to shop??

Sainsbury's are opening all their stores at their usual times tomorrow but with the first hour's shopping restricted to elderly and vulnerable shoppers. It's only for tomorrow but, as of next week, there will be dedicated delivery slots for such customers who order online:

We've just been to our local Sainsbury's in the "old fogey" hour - what a complete waste of time. We only wanted a bit of veg and milk and thought we'd go then because the store would be quiet, so easy to avoid people - WRONG. Store was heaving, so difficult to stay away from others; we'll take our chance in the daytime next time we need a top-up. In fact, we'll be going back because we need prescriptions and the pharmacy wasn't open; maybe there will be some milk then.
