glue

my back brake light has come off my rear window & i cannot find anything that will stick it back on (it falls of after a day or 2) do'es anyone know the secret of the glue to KEEP it stuck on.

Well, there is an adhesive made especially for fixing interior mirrors back onto the inside on the windscreen, so that is probably what you should look for. This is an american site with what you need, look around for a UK equivalent.
However silicon sealer is also a very good adhesive which will stick most things to glass with no problem. The only thing is that it takes a couple of hours to set, so you would have to hold it in place with tape until it is ready.
