they can and will refuse to sell it to you, but if you can pay online you could attempt to buy it they might not even notice! and send it out fro the money you paid, it'll probably be automaticly sent without anyone checking anything..
if they do notice, then they will have to refund your money, so basicly you cant lose from trying!

my boyf tried this once, the item was listed at 0 (should have been about 200), and he went through the whole ordering process, confirmation and was emailed a receipt. 1 day later he got a phone call from the company apologising that their system hadn't updated properly, and that he now needed to re-order the item at the correct price.
it was worth a try anyway!

some companies will wriggle out of it as I tried to order a boxed set of dvds from WH Smith where they had been wrongly priced, however I then got an email saying they were out of stock! even though the order had gone through. Recently though I was aware of a company that was selling something online that should have been 99.99 however was wrongly priced up at 13.99 and the Company honoured all of the orders even where people had obviously spotted a bargain and ordered more than one, which are now appearing on EBay for more like the rrp. unfortunately I missed out on that one :(
I got my paperwork through this morning from the company confirming my order and giving a delivery date - at 159.99. I looked it up on-line when I got a chance and it is now 1599.99, which is pretty steep.
My brother also bought one. As he said - you can't lose. I am getting a new kitchen and will have to redesign it to allow for the fridge to be connected to the water supply. This has been a fantastic bargain.
Thanks nickymitch. Now I need a laptop - get in touch when you find another bargain.

Nope.
I got all my paperwork through and got a phone call from a delivery company, but I live on a 2nd floor flat and there was no way that they could deliver it to me, it was some size of a fridge. I tried to change the delivery address and they pounced on me and cancelled the order. That was this morning, I threatened them with legal action.
My little brother also tried to order one, but they said that he did not have enough credit on his account to order it. He nicely offered to pay by cheque. But they then cancelled the order.
Neither of us are really all that bothered, it was worth a try. But we will send them a nasty letter. Never get between a Scot and a bargain.
Thanks for your original post - it was worth a shot. I think that morally we should get our goodies.

When the woman phoned and asked me if I wanted the model at the full price of 1599 all I said was "what do you think". She sounded stressed out and laughed, she said that she had a lot of phone calls to make but they had fully checked out the legal position.
My brother stays in England and has a big garage and I asked them to deliver it there, but that is where it all fell apart. They cancelled the order.
I live in Scotland and the way our buidings are made and the way the stairs curve all the way up was the main problem with the delivery.
Worth a try and to be honest I would have grabbed the bargain and not been good enough to alert any one else (friends and brother excluded) as to the possible bargain.
I will wait a bit and get a cheaper version.
Thanks and good luck with the Currys one.
