I'm probably being a really dumb biddy but I don't do much on-line shopping!
Next are offering free delivery but where do you put the code? As you 'add to bag' it makes out your order but I don't see a space for special codes and the total adds on the delivery charge.
Hope this makes sense, I'm losing the plot today. Thanks.

Be nice? I was very forthright I'm afraid. I could feel my bp rising when the phone started to ring, I knew who it would be...I swear the ringer sounds strained when she rings, haha.
btw Lottie, if you think we're all going to appear in gymslips now you've another think coming :o) And these must be yours...

Good morning...bright, sunny-ish but soooooooo cold, bird baths are solid.
Hope you're all as well as...and a very happy birthday to Mr S!...sorry I got the day wrong shaney, I thought Thursday was Friday. :o)

<<<bang...bang...bang>>>...builders at it since 8am. I'll never hear the phone ringing. Every cloud has one...
:o)
Happy birthday to mr s x

I thought thursday was Wednesday, what a mess

Mr N and hija arguing again, I can't stand it.
morning all...loads of good kip here and late rising. It was bitterly cold out with the dogs, even in thermal undies and a hood on over my hat. Hope you and Mr S had a lovely day Shaney.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MR SHANEY!! (or was it yesterday)

Had a bad night. Woke up with no covers at all on my back or bum and I was so cold. Pulled the covers back which resulted in a tug of war for quite a while, but never got warm again!! Mr LL can't remember a thing about it!! I'll make him suffer tonight ;o)

So you have found my navy blue drawers then Robi!! Did you find any hankies stuffed up the knickerlegs.

It is absolutely perishing - everything frozen solid. Not as sunny as yesterday. I was planning some clearing up in the garden but the enthusiasm is swiftly dwindling. Mr LL has taken Meggie out over the fields today - looking every inch like a true Siberian Russian!!!

Am out this evening to Bella Italia in Norwich with Mr and Mrs LL junior. Their treat on Tesco vouchers. Am going to wear my new Per Una jeans which fit a treat. They are bootleg but also wanted some straight leg. When the straight leg arrived they were far too tight. Same make!! Daft! They have gone back. (Well actually I could do them up but oh my God a giant muffin top emerged!)

See you later, but probably not until tomorrow.

Lottie I have two fleecy jackets from M and S, same stye, same code number, same size, the only difference is supposed to be the colour BUT the blue coat is a slimmer cut than the tan/beige one. My Sis who lives in m and s always measures everything before she buys it she says two identical items of the same size can differ by as much as an inch in length, width or both!
What you and Mr LL need are separate blankets or duvets on the same bed, its what DH and I do because I am a blanket flinger due to the flushes and DH is a roller over taking the bedding with him. We share sheets but have our own blankets and quilts it works a treat.
Good idea Woofie!! I don't like a sheet though between me and the duvet, somehow I don't feel as cosy and coddled. Two single duvets covers would be a lot easier to wash though and easier to put the duvets in. Hmmm, thinking hard about it!!
BTW Robi email.
And thanks for your mail Woofs x
I love duvets but can't sleep under them, they're usually too hot, and if they aren't when I get into bed then they are by 4am. So I have to poke arms or legs out exactly the right distance to regulate the temperature. Much easier to have sheets and blankets and just thorw them off/pull them on as needed. I also love water beds but when we had one it kept springing little leaks which took all morning to mop up, so that had to go too.
Wow woofy, how strange, I was gonna ask shaney if they had separate duvets on the same bed as we did when we were in Germany and I am thinking of getting them here now. Is a single one each big enough as he rolls around and may get uncovered . also doesn't look so neat when the bed is mad unless you fold them at the foot of the bed.

Dam cat was up ant know what else to do with herd down all night, if I put her out she shouts very loudly, if I leave her in she shouts very loudly at hija's door and I do not want cat on that new duvet, and she would not settle on our bed this time.,so in desperation I shut her in dining room with access to kitchen, food, drink and a dirt box (which she's never used). She kept shouting for half an hour but I turned my deaf ear to the world and couldn't hear her, I was at wits end, didn't know what to do and was considering murder. then Mr N got up and let her out and into our room where she leapt onto the bed and laid as quiet as a church mouse and didn't mouse until 9.30 am. I suppose she realised that she was better off with us than shouting around the place.

The new dog at the back, he whined and cried since 4am, poor little soul, the yard is full of poo, and there is still no one there. I go out and chat to him so he's not so lonely, I think they are more south americans!
Not a lot of sense there^

the damn cat was up and down all night in and out shouting and yelling, so put in in dining room.... cont
We have a 4.5tog american quilt (Coloroll) on our bed plus and throw for the cat to sleep on as I can't wash this cover and has to be laundered once a year!(of course I use sheets with it) I am also and leg and arm poker out sleep as jno says it;s the only way to control the temperature, then I freeze and dive back under the cover.
Question Author
yes Lottie..hankies & a melted bar of Five Boys choc...I left it by jno's chair & now there's an empty wrapper :o/

Get seperate beds! I have the whoooooole bed to myself and I love it!!! I don't think I could share again. I think big beds are a bit outdated, I assume they were for warmth and for doing 'things' in't olde days before people had central heating ...and imaginations :o)
I used to have an arctic tog duvet but my new bed's so much warmer so I keep to a summer one plus a throw in winter...and if it's really cold & throw my snuggly dressing gown on top too. And that means it's warm & easy to reach when I get out. Sorted.
We always used to put our dressing gowns on top of the utility blankets on the bed when we were kids, but Mr N (for some strange reason) hates it when I do it! Don't usually bother with a dressing gown in the house (only when am out looking for hija!)
I would love separate beds (or even separate rooms) but it's nice to have someone there when it's storming or there's a gecko loose in the room!!!!
Question Author
nope, I don't need a man for storms or geckos. The last time I was frightened in the night was the bad earthquake which shook the house but I was ok once I'd come to my senses & worked out what it was. Oh & when I've been ill of course but I couldn't do with anyone who flapped or panicked so I'm probably better off alone. I daresay I'd be scared witless if I heard anyone in the house.
Oooh I just love big beds. The bigger the better, and I love it when I sleep alone in a huge big bed. My idea of heaven!! I hate single beds now. You can't move!!
To Mr S. http://i54.tinypic.com/7080pf.gif

Freezing today. I still made it to ny sister's for our cuppa together.
Just had a lovely curry made by mistake. I had what I thought was some curry sauce in the freezer aand when I defrosted it and added it to the chicken it turned out to be some of my homemade veg soup so I had to open a jar of curry sauce and add some to it to make it taste like Korma. It actually turned out ok in the end. Now I could just fall asleep but I'd better wash up.
I love my big double bed and snuggling down in the duvet. I doubt I could share it with a man now. Well not for very long.. !! He He!!
I'm a bit nervous if I hear a noise and yet I always go and have a look if I do. God knows what I'd do if I met someone downstairs. Probably ask him/her if they wanted a cuppa. Speaking of which see yer latrer 'gater(s)
