I'm probably being a really dumb biddy but I don't do much on-line shopping!
Next are offering free delivery but where do you put the code? As you 'add to bag' it makes out your order but I don't see a space for special codes and the total adds on the delivery charge.
Hope this makes sense, I'm losing the plot today. Thanks.

And I haven't done any sorting out whatsoever!!

So I'll join you in a cuppa Woofie instead!!
Ooooh I love that coat Robinia .You could always get a hat ,a fur cossack stylee one to go with it .
I've done B all too . I'm full of good intentions though .The road to hell is paved with good intentions :)
Good news for you Jno .I take statins .20 mg a day .I often wonder if all these vague aches and tummy gips ( apart from the arthritic pain which I know and love ..not ) are down to them .
vague aches and tummy gyps....that does sound like Dh's symptoms

Oh you'd snook in there jno when I wasn't looking...well done, these locums are often very good, it must be the variety that keeps them sharp. My bp's like Lottie's, seems to be high more often than not. Slapped wrist for me too, I was supposed to go back & have it checked a couple of weeks ago but with all the holidays I lost track. Oh tut, sommat else to attend to.

Ah, I need to take you all shopping with me! :o) Maybe they'll have some more coats in soon...I'll have neti telling me it's not cheap enough, haha but I wear my clothes for years if I find something I like. I love the way the snuggly fur collar's detachable so it would be wearable...well... pretty much all year if recent summers are anything to go by. I'm trying to imagine my face peeping through that + kossack hat shaney, I'll look like a tickling stick, :o) And I do like khaki, blending in to the background is what I do best these days :o)

Nothing much done here either but I did ok at the weekend so I'm counterbalancing :o)
Evening all, I've been busy sorting through a myriad of dvds, sorting them into categories, as it's been driving me mad trying to find certain ones! Boots next. Robi, snap, if I like something i wear it to the death. Yes that is a lovely jacket although I do not normally like M&S (except bras, panties and jeans, and the jewellry isn't too bad either).
don't any of you have your own BP cuffs, I have one from Lloyds Pharmacy which straps to my upper arm, and the doctor tested it and said it was fine, nowadays I'm way too scared to test my BP. I think I take statins, don't I for sholesterol (Simvastatin) and I feel fine and full of beans but shattered at 6pm (and damn it the days are getting longer!)
well, I thought that was why I was taking them, neti, but the locum went through my records (on screen) as far back as she could and couldn't find anything wrong with my chol in previous BP reports, so thought I'd be ok. But she is sending me for another blood test just to check. I didn't tell her I thought the regular GP was an idiot, since he is employing her. He put me on aspirins at the same time in case the statins upset my stomach but yet another doc took me off those when I got a rash round my ankles and piles at the same time - he suspected they were basically causing both counts of internal bleeding. He could have been wright. At any rate, I am now minus both statins and aspirins and so far I'm feeling fine, but of course it's only been 10 minutes without the statins, so maybe I am jumping the gun a bit.

I don't know if there are any pills to cure the compulsion to reorganise DVDs. I'd be grateful if I could just get mine in alphabetical order but no luck so far.
Good Evening. Nothing I fancy on television so am having a Radiohead evening. If you feel happy this evening this will cure you

(I love it! but then I am strange)

Neti, I am far too much of a worrier to have my own blood pressure cuff. Anyway, the doc warned me against it. He only trusts the old fashioned things and says the electronic ones just can't be trusted.
In bed waiting for the paracetamol to work....night night
Goodnight Everybiddy.
I'm a bit fed up now, The Rams have been trounced by a non-league club and are out of the FA cup. My son just text me and said Nigel Clough will resign.
So I'm off to bed.See you tomorrow.

(I know I'm going on but I'm concerned about our Vinny).
Evening all. Sorry not to be around, it's those damned builders, they work around the clock - or maybe there are several different teams doing different jobs at different hours - and I just don't want to be around. When I AM home, there's so much to do I can only do when at home. Sorry 'bout that, biddies. It may get worse before it gets better (my attendance here). At least they haven't put the plastic back up so far - have I managed to scare them I wonder https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WRXT_TrUbiw (can't believe you had posted owls too Robi, I had already planned to post this one:) Love the coat, very stylish.

Bought a handbag today - yes Shaney I blame you:) And this thread. Anyway, I just googled for it to show it to you biddies and somebody is selling it online for a fraction of the price (it's a new bag too so she won't have used it at all, hardly). Here it is. Lottie and they say my Leonard Cohen is depressing... ;-)

Jude you stubborn woman... (<<that's for the little something you're sending, not for asking about Vinny - I miss him too.)
Morning all

Oh swedie, that is my kind of handbag, pass it over! Hope you are managing OK.

Shaney I was thinking about mr s this morning, how is he, and is he managing to live an almost normal life now, out and about, and eating all that he wants?

Mr woofy sounds positive gallivanting on his bike!

I also find leonard cohen depressing, but Mr N loves him, says it all really!!!

Morning all, another dark, grey day in paradise.
Oh heck Lottie, I'd have to have a gun pointing at my head before I'd have a Radiohead evening, and then I'd be begging them to pull the trigger, lol

Lovely bag Sweedie, it's not far removed from one I have which has had several years use & sadly has had to be demoted.
That owl is brilliant, hahaha (yes some coincidence)...that's exactly the look I've perfected & it works for me too :o) I was deafened for half the day yesterday by work being done next door so maybe the noise put us on the same wavelength? There's a whole lot more to come, they're having walls knocked down soon...let's hope it's not mine :o/

I think the universities have only just gone back so maybe Vin's been busy with his family...hope that's all it is.

I never was M&S' biggest fan either neti & after the ridiculous naked 'real woman' ad in 2000 I didn't go near the place until Lottie & shaney lured me back in with the fleeces last year. I still think much of their stuff is overpriced, poor quality & fuddy duddy but occasionally there something that catches my eye. I was disgusted with some pj's I sent for, I wouldn't have used them as dusters.
Now the food is a whole different matter... :o)
Morning all

Yep, nice bag Swedie. I was particularly impressed by the description of it on the link!!

Yes Robi, I would agree M&S is fuddy duddy and overpriced. However, I now have 3 pairs of M&S black leggings in a long length and they are great and their T-shirt like thermal vests have been a lifesaver this winter. I too buy their knickers and bras.

Those fleeces have been an excellent investment!! My staple wardrobe this winter has been M&S. Knickers, bras, thermal T shirts, black joggers and a fleece!!

My thermal socks (yes I have been wearing socks!!!) came from the garden centre at .2.99 for three pairs.

Have booked a weeks holiday in North Yorkshire at the end of May. Same place as last year as it was so lovely. We had the cottage with a spiral staircase last year so have opted for this one. I had great difficulty with the staircase!! Poor old soul!!

http://www.bookcottag...ottages-the-wests.htm
Oh lottie that is my dream cottage in my dream area!! Think I'll come with you and I'll stay on! (never happy are we?)

Now I need excellent advice. How can I stop my pie bottoms from either not cooking enough or being too soggy. Mr N loves an allround pastry pie, but lately mine are disasterous, I'm using shop bought pastry cos mine isn't too clever anyway. right second question, I bought some Beckman's Glo white and left the instructions in England. How do I use it, my white comfy bra is so disgusting I have to do something and not throw it away!

The handbags I use as the moment depending on what boots and clothes I am wearing!
Just shove one of the packs in the wash with your white things Neti and I would use the highest temp. that you dare.

Neti, I love North Norfolk, but I could be tempted to leave it by the North York Moors and coastline. There is no where else in this country that has this effect on me. We went to Devon in the Spring of last year, nice but just doesn't do it for me.

You can come with us, but we will all have to share a bed!!!!

(I will be very temped to stay on).
I like all those bags Neti. Nice Squashy comfy bags. I try to just exist with my little Kangol black bag which is about 9" by 6"!!
Poor dolly is surrounded by flood water, 10 people dead and 78 missing in her area, and they can't leave the suburb.
Oh Neti, I explicity just came back on here to ask if anyone had heard from Dolly! I was watching the 1.00pm news and it was dreadful. Thanks for letting us know. Send her my very best wishes. She must be so upset and worrried.
